Day 1
From the urban cradle of Morocco at the gates of the Sahara
We begin your adventure discovering the contrasts that exist between the urban lifestyle of Marrakech, heritage of the imperial stage, and that of the Sahara Desert, discovering in the way multiple fortresses that served the Berbers to defend themselves from the invaders.
Day 2
From the majestic natural rock walls to the fine sand of the desert
The waterfalls will be a great pleasure on this trip and the palm groves the oasis to reach the magic of the desert where we will learn new colors and experience our five senses to see the most magical nights.
Day 3
We leave the camels to climb the High Atlas
After our experience in the desert, we will enjoy the landscapes of the High Atlas and the different Berber villages that we will find back to Marrakech.
Day 1
Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Skoura – Kelaa Mgouna – Valley of Roses – Gorges of Dades
We begin our route in the cradle of Morocco, Marrakech, one of its four historical capitals. From this population, one of the most important of the southeastern part of the country, we will move south, crossing the High Atlas. Specifically, we will visit the spectacular Tichka Pass (2,260m), the highest road crossing in all North Africa and which is the gateway to the Sahara Desert. On the way, we will make a stop at Ksar Ait Ben Haddou, a beautiful town declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. In the first stage of the tour we will also discover the route of the thousand Kasbahs, also known as the route of the fortresses, since at this point there are different buildings in the style of the Alcazabas of Málaga, Almería, Granada or Mérida. In addition, we will have the possibility of enhancing the smell in the area of the Valley of Roses, especially if the visit is made in the month of May, in full flowering season. Finally we will arrive at the Dades Valley, where we will have dinner and sleep in Kasbah hotel in the Gorges of Dades.
Day 2
Gorges of Dades – Gorges of Todra – Tinjdad – Touroug – Erfoud – Merzouga
From the majestic natural rock walls to the fine sand of the desert
After breakfast we will visit the Todra gorges where we will make a walking tour through this wonderful place with its 300 meter high rock walls we will pass through the Tinghir palm grove and continue towards the Tinjdad palm grove and the of Touroug. We will stop at Erfoud to visit the production workshop of marble and fossils; then we continue to the impressive dunes of the desert of Merzouga. We changed the 4x4s for the dromedaries to admire the sunset and spend the night in haima in the middle of the dunes. We will have dinner in Haimas under the stars with live Berber music show.
Day 3
Desert of merzouga- Rissani – Alnif – Tazarine – Draa Valley – Agdz – Ouarzazate -Marrakech
We leave the camels to climb the High Atlas
We will enjoy the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, we will go to the palm grove of Tafilalet passing through the city of Rissani (the Alaouite dynasty and the capital of the ancient sultans) we will visit the traditional market of Rissani the largest in southern Morocco where all the nomads of the surroundings and also the market of donkeys, goats, sheep, cows … Route to Alnif, the oasis of Tazzarine and Nkob. Next we go towards Ouarzazate through the sublime Draa Valley; the Berber village of Agdz and the port of Ait Saoun (1660 meters of altitude). When we arrived in Marrakech, we said goodbye until your next trip. Welcome.
